Built for attack.
The Mark 2A attack lacrosse head gives offensive players exceptional control, quick hands, and accurate shots.

Better ball control.
Playing offense means controlling the ball. The side profile of the Mark 2A is shifted down for a lower pocket and the throat is slightly more pinched, giving you unmatched control when you’re cradling vertically or with one hand.

The perfect combination of light and stiff.
A great lacrosse head features a stiff construction without weighing you down. A light head gives you faster hands and powerful shots, and stiffness gives you the accuracy you need to hit your target every time. The Mark 2A reduces unnecessary weight without sacrificing consistency.

Quick and accurate throws.
Offensive players need to be able to get the ball in and out of their stick quickly and accurately. That’s why the Mark 2A features a larger offset and a slightly flatter scoop. Play fast. Play with confidence.

No more head rattle.
The lightweight Locking Bolt on the Mark 2A goes through the front and back of our Metal 2 shafts, securing the head from both ends to stop head rattle.

6-month warranty.
We extended our quick and easy warranty to 6 months because we believe in the durability of our Mark 2 heads.

Pre-Strung Option: Type 4S/Type 5S (Semi-Soft) or Type 4X/Type 5X (Semi-Hard) Performance Mesh M Pocket

M Pocket
  • Accuracy. Power. Ball retention. – Our signature mid pocket gives you maximum accuracy and power. And the pinched face shape means better ball retention under pressure.
  • Our most versatile pocket. – The M pocket offers superior control and the perfect amount of whip to make you an outside threat without sacrificing inside finishes or quick feeds.
  • Customizable and adjustable. – 29 stringing holes on each sidewall allow for endless customization, while the adjustable shooters and bottom lace make it easy to fine-tune your pocket.

Fun head, you bring the control

If you like a tight channel that controls the ball for you then you'll be frustrated by String King. Their heads are wider than most (almost like a beginner's head) but have good styling and flexibility which has its own benefits. The scoop is very effective and comfortable (not the best but better than most) and of course, the extreme number of stringing holes provides customization. I will mirror what others have said, too many wholes either become complicated or requires a lot of trial & error. The locking bolt is, in my opinion, a great idea to counter head rattle. However, you must spend some time ensuring front & back holes line up or you're in for a headache getting a good lock.

Now, to the main point. If you prefer some flexibility in your ball release, meaning you make use of a loose pocket that permits the ball to float around a lot, this head will play into your game. Even with a good channel strung the wide head provides a variety of exit points that in unskilled hands would have the ball all over the place. I got this head to try while coaching youth teams and it has been fun for me and them to use. However, if I was to use it in a full-speed game I'd want to make sure I have the ability to maintain good ball control when craddling and passing with my wrist and not rely on the pocket alone.
